Laibach North Korea - poster

Voici un communiqué de leur label et celui de Mestastazis :

"More than two years ago, april 2013 to be exact, I introduced the members of Laibach to norwegian artist Morten Traavik, with the idea that we could work all together on a Laibach performance in North Korea, where no western pop/rock band ever played in its whole history.
And now, this is happening, next August.
To the question "How is that possible??", the answer is : DPRK is a country where things can actually happen, if you introduce the right projects the right way to the right people (left people in that precise case). It's never easy, it's never simple, but things are more doable than what people think, mostly due to the usual mediatic distortion of the truth.

While Morten Traavik is directing the whole event, being also a diplomatic genius to make this possible, I'm taking care of the graphic communication of the event, and of the video projections during the show in Pyongyang.
I hope this news will find the echo it deserves, but on a strictly personnal point of view, this is a milestone in my artistic career .
That's why I want to publicly thanks Morten for being the fucked-up art maniac and network genius he is, and for having me on board of this filthy boat fueled with dynamite and quality humor."
